Sinkhole repairs

We received the following email from the Assistant City Engineer of Norfolk Public Works Design: I do not have any additional information. As we find out more, we will keep everyone informed. Daniel

To all,

City forces are on site today to prepare the sinkhole for our contractor to start polyurethane fill injections next week. The injection works should take no longer than 3 days. Driveway entrances will remain open and clear for use.

As our on-call contractor's proposal came in over budget for the bulkhead replacement, we have requested additional capital improvement funding for FY26. Meanwhile, we are advancing on smaller portions of the work.
