Caligari & Son Painting Contractors have been engaged to refurbish the fencing at the Pilot House along Bute Street and will include the fencing in the lower level garage. It will also include the railings leading from the surface lot to the lower garage, as well as the railing at the entrance of the 2nd floor lobby. This project is expected to take approximately two weeks. The project was delayed last week due to weather, but they will begin work today after 8 am. As there will be days that cars will likely require re-location from the parking lot, we will provide public notices of this with as much notice as possible. The Board apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your patience. Below is a general diagram of areas and parking spaces that will likely be impacted. We will be in touch directly with those particular units, when prepping and painting are occurring near your individual vehicles, so that vehicles will not be impacted.
Please note that a residual effect of steam cleaning the fences is that all of our side windows (on Bute St.) and one our balcony now have the dirt that was removed from the fences. I suspect the town houses may experience a similar problem.
