Below is a notice of an emergency board meeting regarding our roof replacement.
As you know, with all the leaks we’ve had in several of our units, we’ve moved the roof repair to the top of our project list.
We wanted this to be done correctly, so the Board hired the highly reputable Hentz engineering firm to design the specifications for the roof and use qualified, capable contractors to bid on the job. Part of Hentz's contract with us is to oversee the project during installation to assure it’s being done to specification. Hentz gave each bidder the specs and each visited the Pilot House with the Hentz engineer to see what the project would entail. All 3 needed to deliver the project as designed, and each submitted a bid.
On Monday, the board received the bids from the 3 Hentz-picked contractors and we now need to make a decision on which one to use.
NOTICE
The Board of Directors of The Pilot House Condominium Association will hold an emergency special meeting on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to accept a bid on the roof replacement project. Three members of the Board have approved the calling of this meeting.
The meeting will take place in the second floor lobby. All owners are invited to attend.
