The Frost Fighters Brigade and TownScapes have done their thing — plowing is complete, walkways and stairs are being cleared, and rock salt is down.

That said, snow and ice are sneaky little villains. Please:

• Walk like you’re on a catwalk, not auditioning for America’s Funniest Home Videos

• Use handrails — they’re not decorative

• Wear shoes that grip (fashion will forgive you today)

• Assume anything shiny might be plotting against you

We’ll keep chipping, salting, and watching conditions — you just focus on getting where you’re going upright and dignified.
