The Frost Fighters Brigade reunited this morning to battle ten inches of Norfolk snow - practically a blizzard by local standards. Huge thanks to Towne Scapes for plowing the parking lot and clearing the main walkways for the townhomes and lobby around midnight, sparing us from complete despair.
Gail, Karen Moskowitz, Bruce, John Bowers, Phil, and Andrew took on the rest, digging out the remaining walkways, clearing a path on the dock to the street, and tackling the garage driveway with heroic determination. Special shoutout to our neighbor Steve, who put his brand-new battery-powered snowblower to good use in front of our garage driveway - proving that some impulse buys are worth it.
Reminder: Cleared and salted doesn’t mean slip-proof - walk like a penguin and hope for the best. And if you’re brave enough to take on Bute Street, may your tires and patience be strong. It’s still a snowy mess out there!
A big thank you for all the effort to keep us safe!
The Frost Fighters Brigade does it once again--thanks for your efforts!!!
Thank you so much for taking on this task!!
