📡 Cable, Streaming, Internet… Oh My! - Seeking Interested Candidates for a Potential Ad-Hoc Review Committee

I am gathering names of owners who may be interested in serving on a potential ad-hoc committee to review and evaluate Pilot House’s HOA long-standing bulk telecommunications agreement with Cox Communications. This agreement dates back to the late 1980s and was most recently renewed in 2013—long before streaming became the norm and “cutting the cord” entered our vocabulary.
This sign-up does not create the committee; rather, it is intended to gauge interest and help inform a formal proposal to the Pilot House Board of Directors for its formation. If approved, the committee would review the current contract, consider how well it aligns with today’s resident usage and market realities, and share observations and options with the Board for consideration. Any decisions would remain with the Board of Directors.
No technical expertise required—just curiosity, perspective, and a willingness to participate constructively. Cable traditionalists, streamers, and everyone in between are welcome.
