Thank you to all who attended today's meeting with City representatives and afterwards with the Pilot House's attorney.
Please be sure to sign and return your individual unit Right of Entry agreement (sent by the City of Norfolk in regular post). Our attorney has reviewed the document and has no objections to us signing them as sent to us. Of course it is your decision whether or not you sign but not signing would limit your recourse for any construction caused damages, as explained during the meeting. I have given an updated list of unit owners to the City and highlighted those of you who told me today that you did not receive the agreements.
Attached to this communique is the schematic of the project presented by the City. The Cost Share Agreement proposed by the City is with the PH attorney. Per its duties, the Pilot House HOA Board will work with the attorney to arrive at an agreement to be signed by the Board and determine the appropriate funding mechanism (we have heard that the PH's cost could be in the range of $375,000-480,000 cost to the PH). As more develops, we will keep you well informed.
Thank you
